Day45 ヤンゴンの遊び方 Yangon

ミャンマー2日目
The 2nd day in Myanmar

まずは友人が働く職場見学へ

First, we visited my friend's office, actually it's clinic.

友人は日本の病院からミャンマー診療所に派遣され、ミャンマーの医療向上に努めている

My friend was sent by Japanese hospital to improve the technique in the medical filed in Myanmar.

今日は私のために有給を取ってくれて観光

Just for me, she took day off to take me to the sight seeing.

まずは遅めの朝ごはんとしてチャイ、揚げパンと麺

We took Chai tea, bread, and noodle as breakfast.

首都らしい都会の一角を通り過ぎて、スーレーパゴダと呼ばれる仏塔へ

Walking down through the developped district with high buildings, we arrived at Sule Pagoda.

タイ同様、金色に輝いているけど形が違う

The Pagoda is made with gold paintings as same as Thailand, but the shape of the Pagoda is different.

その後、日本の国際協力で建てたという船着き場を利用して対岸のダラ地区へ

Next, we took a ship to go to the other side of the river which is called "Dala."

中心部とはかなり格差が大きく、

The economic situation in Dala looks lower than the central part in Yangon.

途上国あるあるではあるが、タクシーがしつこく付きまとってくる

It often happens in developping countries that the taxies are asked us to ride like hundreds times. 

ヤンゴンでは危険で取り締まられているバイクやトゥクトゥクがたくさん

Bikes are prohibited in the central part in Yangon with the reason of danger, but not here in Dala.

ダラ地区はチラ見だけして再び船で帰宅（ダラ地区から見たヤンゴン中心部）
We just took a look of Dala and came back. (The picture is the sight of Yangon from Dala)

昼ご飯はオシャレなレストラン「モンスーン」にてミャンマー料理
For lunch we had a Myanmar food in the nice restaurant "Monsoon."

昨日ライトアップされていたシュエダゴン・パゴダで一休み
We visited Shwedagon Pagoda which was lit up last night and took a rest. 

夕日を眺めながら日没を待ち、
We waited for the sunset and

夜はショー付きの食事バイキング「カラウェイ」を楽しみました
went to the Karaweik Palace to enjoy the traditional dance and food.
