アメリカ4日目 The 4th day in the United States 朝は家の目の前に広がる自然保護区をバードウォッチングしながら散策 In the morning, I went out with my mom to the wildlife sanctuary infront of the house. いろいろな鳥がいておもしろい I enjoyed different kinds of birds. ランチは中心地で有名なハンバーガー( https://www.mesaburger.com/ ) For lunch, we went to the famous burger shop. 今度は裸足でビーチを歩く In the afternoon, we walked through the beach in Santa Barbara. ここにも面白い鳥がたくさん Also there are many cute birds.   都市なのに土地が広いから自然が守られていて豊か Even though it is the city, the nature was also preserved. その後、ダウンタウンでお買い物＆これまた有名なアイスクリーム( https://mcconnells.com/ ) And we went shopping in the downtown and had famous icecream. 夜は2歳と4歳の子供を大学生のベビーシッターに任せて Tonight we,only adults, had dinner at the restaurant by hiring baby-sitter for their kids. 大人だけで地元食材を使ったレストランでディナー( https://www.barbareno.com/stories ) This restaurant serves the local food from CA. みんなでごちゃごちゃ日本語と英語使いながら楽しく過ごせました E veryone had a fun time by using Japanese and Englush and etc. み...

アメリカ3日目 The 3rd day in the United States サンタバーバラ空港で日本から来た母と合流 I met up with my mom at the airport of Santa Barbara.  大学で教授をしているアメリカ人の友人を訪問 My friend, she is a professor, came and picked us up. 会議があるとのことで母と大学内を散策して学食ランチ She had a meetnig, so I walked around the campus and had lunch. 大きな木と大きな海に囲まれて気持ちがいい The campus is surrounded by big trees and a pacific ocean. 過ごしやすいカリフォルニアだけど、乾燥が続くと山火事が頻発する (https://www.nikkei.com/article/DGXMZO51472660Y9A021C1CR0000/) I heard that there are fire disasters because of the dry weather in California. 水も貴重なので家の水道水で車を洗ってはいけないという州法があるそうだ The water is valuable, so there is a state law which is prohibited washing cars. 通りで砂っぽい車が多い理由がわけだ Now I agree with the cars covered by sand. あと初めて知ったのはカリフォルニア南部は昔メキシコの領土だったそう Moreover I didn't know that the southern part of CA was ruled by Mexico in the old days. 植物園でサボテンが生えている光景や地名がスペイン語だったりするのは That is why I see many cactus at the botanical garden メキシコの影響なのだと知りました and the name of...

アメリカ2日目 The 2nd day in the United States 謎なホテルで起床 I woke up at the hotel which doesn't have wifi. 6時から朝ごはんということで6:15に向かうとまたまた謎現象 I went to the restaurant at six for breakfast. コックが遅刻して朝ごはんがない！ The weird thing happened again that the breakfast wasn't ready because the chelf was late. ここ田舎なのかしら Is this kind of country side? とりあえずUberで街へ繰り出す Anyway, I went to the town by Uber. インフォメーションセンターと間違えてビジターセンターへ直行 I want to go to the infoemation cent er, but I arrived at the visitor center by mistake. ここはモルモン教の聖地でビジターセンターには教会とキリスト像 Here is the hometown of Mormon. もちろん街の地図を求めてもない Of course, they don't have a city map. 気を取り直してインフォメーション行ったら、州会議事堂と教会しか紹介されず Finally I found and went to the information center and introduced the State Capitol and church. 見に行く場所ないんだなーと悟る I guess there is nothing for tourists. 街にはリスが走っているしなー The squirrels on the street remind me a country sight. 一区画のみ栄えている場所があってランチして戻る I got a sandwich at the modern place. メキシコ最終日、アメリカ1日目 The last day in Mexico and the 1st day in the United States 朝6:30に家を出て、8:00レオン⇒9:00メキシコシティ Leaving at 6:30 and I took the flight from Leon to Mexico city. メキシコシティでこのブログを書き、15:30メキシコシティ⇒18:45ソルトレークシティー Spending time by writing this blog and I took the flight from Mexico city to Salt Lake City. アナログだけど空港の看板に設置してある受話器をとれば、 It's a kind of old type, but it helps me to call the hotel for free. ホテル直通無料電話でシャトルバスを呼べる And they can give me a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. 国際電話使えない身にとってはありがたい It's very useful for me who cannot make an international call. 本日のホテルAirport Inn Today'd hotel "Airport Inn." 乗り換え滞在なので空港隣接の値段の高いホテルを選択 I stopped at SLC just for transit, so I chose the one which is the closest from the airport. 7500円と日本のビジネスホテルと同等だけど、貧乏旅にしては高い It cost 7500 yen which is the similar price with Japan, but still it's expensive for me. えっ、、ここアメリカですよね？ Wait, wait, am I in America? 高いお金払ってるのに部屋でwifiが繋がらな...

メキシコ6日目 The 6 th day in Mexico 今日はUberで市内を観光 Today we went aroud the city with Uber. レオンは日本企業が多く進出していることもあり Since many Japanese companies are installed in Leon, 日本語表記によく出会う We often meet up the japanese signs. まずは郵便局に行って、日本へポストカードを発送 First we went to the post office to send some postcards to Japan. アメリカ資本のwalmartに行くとメキシコらしい光景が！ To get some groceries we went to the walmart, and I found it is like Mexico. 食用サボテンのトゲを取って販売中 She cuts of the thorns of cactus and sells them. 本日のランチもメキシカン You are not surprised any more at Tacos again for lunch. こちらも友人お勧めのタコス屋さん This is also recommandation of my friend. 牛、鶏、豚など好きなものを注文可能 You can order beef, chicken, and pork. 帰宅後、セキュリティで囲まれた家の周りを散歩 We came back and walked around the house which is guarded safely. そして、連日泊めてもらった感謝を込めて晩御飯を準備 At night, I prepared the supper with the appreciation of letting me stay at their house. 夜はスペインに留学していた友人からスペイン情報を仕入れて就寝   Before going t...

メキシコ5日目 The 5th day in Mexico アートの街「サンミゲルデアジェンデ」 San Muguel de Allende, which is famous for art. 世界中のアート作家の小物、服、楽器、絵画が並んでいました There are many items, clothes, instruments and paintings of artists from all over the world. まずはコロニアル様式の建築物が立ち並ぶ街を歩く First, we walked down through in the town. コロニアル様式とは植民地支配をする側とされる側の文化を融合した感じらしい There are many buildings with colonial style. 中心にあるサンミゲル教会はスペインの作品の模写をして先住民が建てたそう San Miguel church was built by Mexican who copied the design from Spanish picture. 散策後はおしゃれカフェでケーキを食す、メキシコでイタリアンを食す After walking around, we had cakes at cafe and a pizza at Italian restaurant in Mexico. 2年住んでいる友人でさえ「メキシコじゃないみたい」と驚いていました My friend was very surprised at delicious food. さてさて、今メキシコの街は💀で溢れています Now, the town in Mexico is full of skeletons items.  マカロンにも絵画にも骸骨 Skulls on the macaron. メキシコ4日目  The 4th day in Mexico. ひとり旅を一時休憩して、レオンにて安心安全な友人宅に到着 I arrived at my friend's house in Leon and now I'm not alone. 友人の運転する車で宝石の街「グアナファト」へ We went to Guanajuato by car. 友人はメキシコ在住2年、すっかりガイドさん風 My friends live in Mexico for 2 years and seems like a travel guide. 混雑を避けての行動、メキシコの料理、メキシコの歴史等々何でも教えてくれる They know how to avoid the congestion and explained the food in Mexico and history in Mexico. カラフルな景色がメキシコっぽい The colorful buildings express exactly the country, Mexico.  小物もカラフル Items in the shop are also colorful. 広島カープ大好きメキシコ人のお店でセルビン焼を購入 I bought cute ceramics which are made by Janvier Servin. 今日のホテルはView Hotel boutique & Spa （https://viewhotelboutique.negocio.site/） We stayed at Vier Hotel tonight. 1棟貸し切りでベランダも広い！ They prepared a huge cottage for us. ベランダからの眺めは絶景！ The sight from the balcony is wonderful. たまたまジャグジーも無料開放！ And more, a Jacuzzi was for free just for us and just for tonight. 皆さん、レオン〜グアナファト〜サンミゲルにお立ち寄りの際はぜひ！ ...
