Day12　ロサンゼルスの遊び方　Los Angels

アメリカ6日目
The 6th day in the United States.

昨日から泊っているホテルは「ジノシ　メトロポリタン　アパートメント」
We are staying at "Ginosi Metlopolitan Aprtment" in Los Angels.
 今日は1日ハリウッドを日本語ツアーで巡る
We joined a Hollywood tour in Japanese.

 日本語を話すエジプト人がホテルまで迎えに来てくれた
An Egyptian who can speak Japanese fluently picked us up at the hotel.

 9:30-17:30までユニバーサルスタジオハリウッドで遊ぶ
We had fun for eight hours in Universal Studios in Hollywood.

 日曜日なのにアトラクション15分待ちで全部乗れた！
Even it's on Sunday, all attractions except one are required with 15 mins of waiting time.
日曜日の午前中はみんなゆっくりだから空いているらしい
It is usual that the Americans wake up slow in the sunday morning.

 そして、やっぱりアメリカはショーが面白い
What is more, the shows are very interesting in the United States.

ハリウッド映画の音響効果・アクションの撮影方法のショーはお腹かかえるほど笑えた
I had a fun time watching the effect show which presents the sounds & actions in Hollywood movies.
動物ショーも老若男女、英語が分からなくても楽しめる
Also the show of animal acters gives you fun time even if you don't understand English.

 夜はハリウッドで夕食した後、
We had dinner at the restaurant in Hollywood.

 グリフィス天文台へ夜景を見に行く
The tour took us to the Griffith Observatory for the night view.
今日は朝から曇りでUSHでは過ごしやすかったけど夜は寒すぎ
It was nice clowdy day to spend time in USH, but it's cold to go out at night.

 一面の夜景はとにかく規模が大きくてキレイでした
The vast night view was wonderful.

ミャンマー2日目 The 2nd day in Myanmar まずは友人が働く職場見学へ First, we visited my friend's office, actually it's clinic. 友人は日本の病院からミャンマー診療所に派遣され、ミャンマーの医療向上に努めている My friend was sent by Japanese hospital to improve the technique in the medical filed in Myanmar. 今日は私のために有給を取ってくれて観光 Just for me, she took day off to take me to the sight seeing. まずは遅めの朝ごはんとしてチャイ、揚げパンと麺 We took Chai tea, bread, and noodle as breakfast. 首都らしい都会の一角を通り過ぎて、スーレーパゴダと呼ばれる仏塔へ Walking down t hrough the developped district with high buildings, we arrived at Sule Pagoda. タイ同様、金色に輝いているけど形が違う The Pagoda is made with gold paintings as same as Thailand, but the shape of the Pagoda is different. その後、日本の国際協力で建てたという船着き場を利用して対岸のダラ地区へ Next, we took a ship to go to the other side of the river which is called "Dala." 中心部とはかなり格差が大きく、 The economic situation in Dala looks lower than the central part in Yangon. 途上国あるあるではあるが、タクシーがしつこく付きまとってくる It often happens in developping co...

Day28　コトヌー・グランポポの遊び方　Cotonou and Grand-Popo

ベナン2日目 The 2nd day in Benin 今までのようにどこにでもWifiがあるわけではないので There is no wifi everywhere like developped countries. まずはコトヌーでSIM探し I look for a SIM in Cotonou before leaving. 隊員ドミトリー⇔事務所間にできたMTN（通信会社） There is a new MTN store which they didn't have 5 years ago. 身分証明としてパスポートを提出する I handed in the passport as an ID to employee. コピー機がないので必要な情報を紙に書き写している He started to copy it by hand because they don't have a copy machine. こりゃ1時間コースだなと思っていたら I suspected that it would take more than one hour. なんと15分で手続き終わった！しかも100F！ However, it's done within 15minutes and costs 100F. 道端のおばちゃんからもSIM買えますが、 We can buy SIM cards at the store on the road,  but it costs 1000F, 1000Fするらしいので店舗に行くとよいでしょう so it's better to go to the branch store. そして朗報！あのガタガタ・ぐちゃぐちゃの道がキレイになってる！ And what's new is that the bumpy road became proper completely. 道の状態によっては2～3時間かかっていたところが1.5時間でグランポポに到着 It took only 1.5hours wich is of course faster than befor...
